Macs with OSX and connected with high-speed CISCO gigabit switched
networks and OSX Servers.
- Developed two
successful business start ups with a 200+ customer base, which have
remained with him through two company acquisitions. Customers range from
industrial, graphics and public sector.
- Developed systems
and applications, using Apple Macintosh to deliver and effectively manage
online support of customers and transfer of finacial data for automation
of processing.
- Created and
implemented flexible IT solutions allowing SMEs to adapt rapidly to
changing market and economic conditions in scaling their operations.
- Project managed,
developed and implemented technologies to deliver intranet based reporting
systems for world's largest nitric acid plant using Apple Macintosh.

thousands of pounds in penalties and maximising production within quota

- Implemented from
scratch a Mac based ISP service with web, email and DNS servers for the
company’s customers. Expanded by development of web based relational
database access solutions.

implemented application for monitoring industrial maintenance, reducing
plant downtime at a saving of £50,000+.
- Invented system and
application for centralised automated credit control and billing,
services, more than doubling transaction-processing capacity, without
additional overhead thereby increasing profitability (also on Mac).

* Project Manager responsible for the total upgrade of
all Macs at the UK’s largest publisher, London. This job consisted of Project
managing the migration of users from OS 9 to OS X and over half of the machines
over to the new G5’s, the rest of the machines being cascaded down through the
system. This multi-site project covers all aspects from connecting up to the
companies W2000 SAN servers via Active Directory, Outlook, Office, backup,
archiving, user training and rollout etc. Specifying equipment, order, delivery
and keeping within budgetary constraints. The project management was based on Prince2
concepts.
Continued
support of international customers working with existing projects. Further
development of web based information systems for a financial administration
company. Support of multiple customer sites data and network systems. Server
installations, user support and database maintenance.

Power Consult AS in order to ease transition to UK
* Continuation of existing customer base with consultant
work, database development and multiple site remote IT-support. I also run and
support the ISP email/web services Power Consult operates for several customer
sites. Support of customers in both industrial and graphics industries with
systems comprising of both Mac and PC. Development of web-based information
access systems using relational databases. Support of Mac based networks at
high schools one of which has well over 120 Macs running OSX and 2 OSX Servers
which Cisco switch gigabit networks. Support of several graphics
